Reset a password you forgot

Type your email on the sign-in page and press the forgotten-password link underneath. Margin emails you a way to choose a new one.

The steps

Go to the sign-in page and type your address in the Email box.
Press Forgot your password?, which sits just under the password box.
Open the email and press the link in it.
Type a new password on Choose a new password and press Save my new password.
Sign in with the new one.

Reset a password you forgot. No sound. The words are on the screen.

A reset link works once, and only for an hour. Ask for another one if yours has expired.

Margin gives the same answer whether or not the address has an account. Otherwise this box would be a way for a stranger to find out who uses Margin.

The address has to be confirmed first. If it is not, Margin sends the confirmation email instead and tells you so.

Your year is untouched by any of this. Changing a password changes nothing in your planner.
