Rename a chore
The chore's name in the list under the chart is a box. Type the new words and press Tab.
The steps
- Press the Chores tab and scroll down to the list under Add a chore.
- Press the chore's name.
- Type the name you want.
- Press Tab, or press anywhere outside the box.

What to know
Every check the child has already earned stays. It is the same chore underneath, so nothing is lost.
Before this you had to delete a chore to fix a typo, and deleting it took the checks with it.
An empty box puts the old name back rather than leaving a row with no name on it.
The new name reaches the chart and the calendar at once.
