See what was missed

A chore nobody checked comes off the calendar once the day is over. The chart keeps the empty circle, so you can still see it.

The steps

  1. Press the Chores tab.
  2. Look at the days behind today in the week on screen.
  3. An empty circle on a day gone by is a job that did not get done.
  4. Press it to check it off late.

See what was missed. No sound. The words are on the screen.

What to know

The calendar does the opposite on purpose. Yesterday's unchecked chore comes off The Year and off the printed page, because a list of old jobs nobody did is only in the way.
A chore that was checked off stays on the calendar, crossed out. That is a record, and a record is worth keeping.
The count beside a child's name holds the whole week, so a missed Monday keeps the number down until Sunday is over.
