Know whether a day off counts toward your required days
A sick day counts. An ordinary day off does not, and a field trip does.
The steps
- Press the Days Off tab to read how many breaks and sick days you have.
- Press The Year tab to read your day count.
- Add the day as a field trip instead when school really happened.
Know whether a day off counts toward your required days. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
An ordinary day off is not school, so it does not count and your last day of the year moves later.
A sick day counts, because you set it aside before the year began.
A field trip counts too. A day at the aquarium is school and it belongs on the Field Trips & Activities tab.
There is no way to make an ordinary day off count. That is on purpose, because your record has to be true.
