Take a day off
Pick the date, name it, and press Take this time off. The rest of the year spreads out around it.
The steps
- Press the Days Off tab.
- Open Take time off.
- Pick the Date.
- Type what it is in Reason. Call it something you will know in February.
- Press Take this time off.
Take a day off. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
A day that is still ahead of you asks you nothing. Margin lays the rest of the year around it and the work goes on as usual.
Margin asks you a question only when the day has already gone by and there is unfinished work sitting on it.
A day off is not a school day, so it does not count toward the number your state asks for. A sick day is the one that does.
Leave Reason empty and Margin calls it Off.
