Add a trip before you pick the day
Leave the date empty and press Add field trip. A trip with no date waits at the bottom of your list until you choose a day.
The steps
- Press the Field Trips & Activities tab.
- Open Add a field trip.
- Leave the Date empty.
- Type where you want to go under What is it.
- Press Add field trip.

What to know
A trip with no day is not on your calendar and it counts toward nothing. The sentence above the table says how many are waiting, so you are never left wondering why the total did not move.
The Days column shows a dash instead of a number, because there are no days to count yet.
Waiting trips sit under the dated ones. The trip that is this Friday stays at the top where you can see it.
Pick the date in the box on the row and the trip sorts itself back into the year. From that moment it counts toward your required days like any other trip.
Margin cannot move work around a day you have not named, so nothing in your plan changes until you choose one.
