Read the mastery chart
One pie, one wedge for each category. The full color is what is mastered and the pale part is what is still being learned.
The steps
- Press the Memory Work tab.
- Read the chart at the top, under Mastered so far.
- Read the list beside it for the count in each category.
Read the mastery chart. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
A wedge is as big as the share of your items that category holds. A list of forty verses takes more of the circle than a list of four.
The chart is a record of what has been mastered rather than a ring that fills up by May. Seven of ten reads 70 percent, and it only reaches the whole circle when every item is mastered.
The pale part of a wedge is the same color as the full part, so an unfinished category still reads as itself and never as a hole.
The chart is not on the tab at all until a category has something in it.
