Bring a saved copy back
Choose your saved file under Bring a saved copy back. Margin shows you what is in it and waits for a yes.
The steps
- Press the Setup tab.
- Scroll to Keep a copy of your year.
- Press the box under Bring a saved copy back and pick your file.
- Read what Margin says is in it, then press OK.

What to know
This swaps everything in Margin for what is in the file. Whatever is in Margin now goes.
Margin tells you the day the file was saved and what is in it before it does anything, so you can stop if it is the wrong one.
A file that is not a Margin copy is refused, and Margin says so rather than making a mess of your year.
The page reloads itself afterward. That is Margin reading the restored year rather than anything going wrong.
