Save a copy of your year
Press Save a copy of my year on the Setup tab. Margin hands you one file that holds everything.
The steps
- Press the Setup tab.
- Scroll to Keep a copy of your year.
- Press Save a copy of my year.
- Put the file somewhere you trust. iCloud, Dropbox, or an email to yourself all work.
Save a copy of your year. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
The file holds everything: your children, your dates, your subjects, your books and every box you have checked.
If you are signed in, your year is already saved to your account and comes back when you sign in elsewhere. This is your own copy on top of that.
If you are not signed in, your year lives in this browser on this device only. Clear the browser or lose the phone and it goes too, so a copy matters more.
Do it again whenever you have done a lot of checking off. The file is only as new as the day you saved it.
On a phone
The share sheet opens instead of a download, so you can save it to Files, mail it to yourself or send it to the laptop.
