Choose what goes onto your Google Calendar

Six check boxes decide what Margin sends. Uncheck a kind and none of it reaches your calendar.

The steps

  1. Press Your account at the bottom of the planner.
  2. Find Google Calendar and read What goes onto the calendar.
  3. Uncheck anything you would rather keep out of it.
  4. Press Save what syncs.

Choose what goes onto your Google Calendar. No sound. The words are on the screen.

What to know

All six start switched on, so a fresh connection sends everything. Bookwork is the one most families turn off, because it fills every school day.
The calendar feed on the Setup tab starts with bookwork off instead. The two are set up separately and they do not copy each other.
Unchecking every box is a real answer. Margin tells you that nothing will go to Google, and it leaves the connection in place.
Turning a kind off does not delete what Google already has. Margin tidies it up on the next sync.
