Check off chapters one at a time
Under each reading line there is a numbered circle for every chapter in that week. Press a number and that chapter is read.
The steps
- On the The Year tab, find the book's reading line above the week.
- Press the numbered circle for the chapter you read.
- Press each one as you go. The week checks itself off when they are all filled in.
Check off chapters one at a time. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
Each child reading the book gets a row of her own, so two children reading the same book keep separate places in it. A book with one reader shows no name, because a family with one reader should not have to read a label telling them who it is.
The count beside the circles is this week alone. It reads 2 of 4 rather than counting the whole book.
Chapters from behind you appear on this week as pale circles in front of this week's own, so you can catch up without hunting back through the calendar. When there are a lot, Margin adds +6 earlier.
Taking a whole week's check off takes its chapters off with it, because a week that is not read has no chapters in it that are.
