Take a book off the list
The ✕ at the end of a row takes the book off your reading list and off your report.
The steps
- On the Books tab, find the book's row in the table.
- Press ✕ at the end of the row.
Take a book off the list. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
Margin does not ask you twice, so look at the row before you press it. The book goes, and its weekly checks go with it.
A book your children really read is better marked Finished than removed. A finished book stays on the record, and that record is the whole reason the list is worth keeping.
Taking a book off changes nothing about your day count. Reading is not what makes a day a school day.
