Number lessons the way your book does
When your calendar says lesson 15 and your book says 2.4, you are never sure you are on the right page. Answer two questions once and Margin writes every lesson the way your book writes it.
The steps
- On the subject's row, press numbering.
- Pick Units, all the same length when every unit has the same number of lessons, or Units of different lengths when they vary.
- Fill in the numbers. For even units you give the unit count and the lessons in each. For uneven ones you type the lengths in order, separated however you like.
- Set what unit one is called if your book does not start at 1, and pick whether it is written as 2.4 or as 302 — lesson 1.
- Read the preview line. It names a real lesson in your book.
- Press Save.
Number lessons the way your book does. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
This changes only the numbers you read. Margin schedules the book exactly as it did before, so nothing moves on your calendar.
The preview line is the part that tells you it worked, and it catches a typo tonight instead of in March. When the lengths do not add up to your lesson count, Margin says so and will not save.
Back to plain numbers puts the book back to counting straight through.
You can also reach this from a lesson on the day sheet. Number every lesson like my book sits under the name while you are renaming it, which is the one moment you have the book open in front of you.
