Take one child off and leave the other in school
Pick that child under Who. Their work moves along and the other child's day is untouched.
The steps
- Press the Days Off tab.
- Open Take time off.
- Pick the Date and type a Reason.
- Under Who, pick the child who is out.
- Press Take this time off.
Take one child off and leave the other in school. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
Margin never asks you the three questions here. One child out changes nothing about the family's year, so there is nothing to decide.
That child's lessons move along. Nothing is dropped and nothing is crammed into the next day.
The other child keeps every lesson that day, and the day still counts as a school day for your household.
The row on your list carries a colored edge in that child's color, so you can see at a glance whose break it is.
On a phone
The Who list is the same on a phone, just stacked under the date.
