Complete your school year
Press Complete my school year at the top of the Report tab. The year becomes read-only, and you can still open it and print it whenever you like.
The steps
- Press the Report tab.
- Read Your school year at the top of the page.
- Press Complete my school year.
- Press OK when Margin asks you to confirm it.
Complete your school year. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
Read-only means nothing can be checked, moved or deleted by accident. A finished record is the one thing in Margin you cannot afford to knock sideways.
Starting next year is a separate step, and there is no rush about it. Completing this year does nothing to the next one.
A bar appears across the top of the planner afterward, with Print and Reopen this year on it.
If any memory work was never mastered, Margin asks whether to carry it over before it finishes.
