Choose what kinds of thing sync
Six check boxes under What kinds of thing sync decide what goes out. Switch a kind off and none of it is sent.
The steps
- Press the Setup tab and open Add to Google or iCal.
- Find What kinds of thing sync.
- Uncheck any kind you do not want on your calendar.
- Your calendar drops them the next time it checks.

What to know
Switching a whole kind off beats unchecking its events one at a time, because nothing of that kind is sent whatever is checked further down.
Field trips, co-op, other activities, out-of-term learning and library books start switched on, and bookwork starts switched off.
Library books puts the day a stack goes back on your calendar, which is the one most families keep.
Nothing you checked off is ever sent, whatever these switches say.
