Set a due date, or leave it off
A due date is optional. With one, the work counts down to a day. Without one, it keeps showing until somebody checks it off.
The steps
- On the Assignments tab, find the assignment in the list.
- Set the date box in its row to the day it is due.
- Clear that box to take the due date back off.

What to know
The day it is due says DUE on the calendar and the words turn red once it has gone by.
A due day counts as a school day, because a paper handed in is school. The days before it do not count on their own, or one long project would turn every empty weekday into school.
Work with no due date has no day to count, so it changes your day count by nothing at all.
A deadline does not move for co-op. The due day shows even when there is co-op on it.
