Give an assignment a grade
A grade is optional and it is yours to write however you write it. Type 92, or 18/20, or leave it empty.
The steps
- On the Assignments tab, find the assignment's row.
- Type into the Grade box at the end of the row.
- Leave it empty if you do not grade this piece of work.

What to know
A grade is a note to yourself rather than a number Margin does arithmetic on, so 18/20 and A- are both fine.
Typing a grade does not check the work off, and checking it off does not ask you for a grade. They are two separate things.
On the day it is due, the day sheet offers the grade box right there, so you can mark the paper and write the grade in one sitting.
The grade goes into the Report under that child with the due date beside it.
