Say who an assignment is for
An assignment belongs to one child, or to everybody. The Who box is how you say which.
The steps
- On the Assignments tab, find the assignment's row.
- Choose the child's name in the first dropdown in the row.
- Choose Everyone to give it to the whole family.

What to know
Everyone is the one Margin starts with, because a family doing one thing together is the common case.
A child's name on the assignment puts her name on the chip in the calendar, so you can tell at a glance whose paper is due.
Filtering the calendar to one child hides the work that belongs to her sister. Work for everyone stays on screen whoever you are looking at.
