Put your list in
Paste the whole year, one item to a line. Margin shows you what it found before it adds anything.
The steps
- On the Memory Work tab, open Paste a year of items.
- Choose the list under Into which category.
- Paste your items into the box, one to a line.
- Read what Margin found underneath the box.
- Press the + Add button. It counts them for you, so it says how many are coming.
Put your list in. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
The order you paste is the order they are learned. Margin never sorts your list.
A line Margin already has in that category is dropped. Paste the same list twice and nothing is doubled.
Numbers and bullets at the front of a line come off, so a list copied out of a book arrives clean.
One line is a fine list. This is also how you add a single verse in the middle of the year.
Margin says so plainly when there is nothing new in what you pasted, rather than going quiet on you.
