Grade one subject and not another
Each subject has its own grading switch inside its edit form. Turn it off for Bible or PE and the rest keep their grades.
The steps
- Press the Setup tab and make sure grades are on under Report cards.
- Find the subject in the table and press edit at the end of its row.
- Scroll to Grading near the end of the form.
- Uncheck Give this subject a grade and save the subject.

What to know
A subject you do not grade stays on the record and on the report card. It shows a dash where the grade goes rather than disappearing.
Weigh tests, homework and quizzes differently is in the same place, and it is off unless you ask for it. Most families never need it.
When you do weigh them, a category with nothing in it yet is left out of the average, so the grade is honest in week one.
This whole part of the form is not drawn at all while grades are off.
