Say where an A starts

Four boxes under Report cards hold the cut-off for an A, a B, a C and a D. Change any of them to your own scale.

The steps

  1. Press the Setup tab.
  2. Open Report cards and make sure grades are on.
  3. Change the number under A, B, C or D.
  4. The line underneath tells you what counts as an F now.

Say where an A starts. No sound. The words are on the screen.

What to know

These are only the usual cut-offs, and plenty of homeschools use a different scale. Margin does not argue with yours.
The letter is worked out every time a page is drawn, so an old grade is re-read against the new numbers straight away.
Anything below the D line is an F. There is no box for an F, because it is whatever is left.
