Keep grades this year
Open Report cards on the Setup tab and check Keep grades this year. Margin keeps none until you ask it to.
The steps
- Press the Setup tab.
- Open Report cards under School year.
- Check Keep grades this year.
- The cut-offs and the semester question appear underneath it.

What to know
Grading is off when you start, and everything it brings with it stays folded inside this one drawer. A family who never opens it never meets a grade.
Turning it on does not grade anything by itself. A grade comes from a number you type on a lesson you checked off, or on an assignment.
Print a report card appears on the Report tab once this is on, and it is hidden again if you turn it off.
Turn it off later and nothing you typed is thrown away. The grades simply stop being shown, and they come back if you turn it on again.
