Know what the record keeps separate
Music, art, sports and life studies each get a heading of their own, and none of their hours are counted as days of instruction.
The steps
- Press the Report tab.
- Scroll to Music and art at home or Sports. Each one shows the hours you logged and nothing else.
- Scroll to Life studies. Each moment is dated, with the subject you gave it.
- Read the line underneath either heading. It says the hours are kept separate from the days of instruction above.
Know what the record keeps separate. No sound. The words are on the screen.
What to know
This is deliberate. A piano hour is real learning, and it is still not a school day, so counting it as one would make your record untrue.
Life studies are left out of the daily register for the same reason. The register lists the days the household did school.
Summer and out-of-term learning is the one that does count. You entered real dates for it, so those days are added to your total and the note under the heading says how many.
An association reading the record sees the separation spelled out, which is better for you than a number nobody can account for.
